Clermont Tennis Academy goal is simple. Provide residents of the city of Clermont with a fun and relaxed environment where they can hone their skills, get involved in tournaments, and have access to world-class tennis instruction. Our programs are perfect for players of all levels and all ages.
Our Junior Tennis Academy is a year-round training program and focuses on developing players to reach their maximum potential. The experienced CTA staff will provide the needed structure for players to develop properly through their junior years and beyond!
This course will go over every aspect of the game with the purpose of helping you improve the most in the least amount of time. Each lesson has key elements that will provide you with important tips that will enhance your performance no matter what your level.

Essential Tips for Beginners
When a tennis beginner starts learning to play tennis, they first need to learn basic forehand and backhand technique as these will allow them to play, enjoy the game and come back for more.
The basics of tennis of course also include the serve, volley and the overhead strokes, but these techniques can be learned later as the beginner learns to rally first cooperatively with their partner.

Damon, a PTR and USPTA-certified professional and Training Master PTR professional has individual certifications in 10 and Under Tennis, Adult Development, High Performance and 11 to 17 Player Development. As CEO and president of Keene’s Pointe Tennis Inc., his company manages tennis properties throughout Central Florida, concentrating lately on growing Junior Team Tennis leagues and starting lower-level adult USTA League teams at facilities.
“He is a part of a company that values tennis, and does whatever possible not to see facilities die,” Licorish added. “He is a constant in our JTT programs by putting the kids he works with in JTT to help them progress in their abilities.”

2020 Youth Tennis Program is now open!!!!
Our junior tennis programs help kids learn in an environment that focuses on camaraderie, self-esteem, physical fitness, discipline and good sportsmanship. They will develop just as many life skills as they will tennis skills.Classes begin on January 6th 2020.We supplement our high-level tennis instruction with simulated situations, games, and USTA tournament play that reinforce the skills being learned in training. So replacing stand-alone tennis lessons are extensive packages that ensure the proper development of your child’s game.
